Označite | Izvleček: | The case study was carried out in the Department of Appraisal and Cadastre of the Decentralized Autonomous Government of the Babahoyo canton, the central topic of analysis is the strengths and weaknesses that exist in it. The main problems detected are related to the lack of speeding up the registration processes, the non-existence of a process flowchart that effectively guides the actions of the employees of the department, errors in the design and registration of plans, among others. . The objective of the research is to identify the positive aspects as well as the negative ones, to suggest ways to strengthen the strengths and improve the weaknesses that impede the development of the department. To obtain the pertinent information, the investigation technique called survey has been used, which has been applied to two segments of the population, the first one is addressed to the department's officials and the second to its users. The results reflect that in the department there are important weaknesses regarding the attention of citizens who feel dissatisfied by the lack of thoroughness in certain processes. The investigation concludes that the department lacks to implement an effective control that allows obtaining a higher level of efficiency in the activities performed by public officials. |
