The research was carried out with the purpose of reflecting on the incidence of the practice of values in the academic performance of online teaching generated by the pandemic "covid-19" in time of confinement reflected from the basic education career of the FCJSE- UTB, the research was qualitative, descriptive, explanatory documentary-bibliographic type, an interview was conducted with teachers and parents of the Isabel La Católica school, it was evidenced that teachers do not have strategies that promote the practices of values in this new study modality, students do not comply with the tasks and have bad behavior in classes, parents do not help in accompanying their children's online classes, the vast majority of children do not practice the value of obedience in their home, or during classes, this generates poor academic performance, because what they do the least is pay attention to the teacher. Therefore, it is concluded as a priority that teachers work on the best model to bring the school closer to children not only in content but also with values, which allows them to function in today's world in an efficient and effective way, with motivational strategies and playful games.
