The total experimental area possessed 1.375,00 m2, every plot was of 25,00 m2 and one useful area of 12,00 m2. All the average values were analyzed statistically by means of the program Infostad in which one determined the variables by means of the analysis of variance and applying the test of Duncan's multiple range to 5 % of probability, obtaining this way the difference and statistical classification of the best treatment........En el presente trabajo de investigación se evaluó el efecto de la micorrización y la abonadura orgánica en el cultivo de mashua (Tropaeolum tuberosum) en la variedad amarilla tardía en la zona Santa Lucía de la Parroquia de Caranqui, Cantón Ibarra, provincia de Imbabura, ubicada en las coordenadas: latitud norte 00º 19’ 06,92’’, longitud oeste 78º 07’ 02,29’’ y una altura 2.324 m.s.n.m. con el objetivo de; valorar el comportamiento agronómico del cultivo de la mashua, evaluar la mejor combinación orgánica abono + micorrizas, y realizar el análisis económico de los tratamientos en estudio. Se utilizó el diseño de Bloques Completamente al Azar (DBCA), con cuatro repeticiones y nueve tratamientos. El área total experimental contó con 1.375,00 m2, cada parcela fue de 25,00 m2 y un área útil de 12,00 m2. Se evaluó; altura de planta, diámetro de tallo, número de tallos, número de flores, número y peso de tubérculos por categoría (primera, segunda y tercera), rendimiento y análisis económico.
