Análisis de un modelo de desarrollo agrícola del cultivo de maíz (Zea mays L.) en el cantón Babahoyo

The present work was carried out with the purpose of analyzing a model of agricultural development of the cultivation of maize (Zea mays.) In the Babahoyo canton, according to the present needs of the canton in the cultivation sectors, our "own" must be defined agricultural development models, adapted to the agro-productive reality of the area, according to the typology of farmers. This process should be accompanied by profound changes in the education, technical and institutional innovation system, which are consistent with these models. In this way we will be able to advance not only towards the growth of agricultural production and productivity but also towards the well-being and development of rural and urban society. The need to apply the technified agricultural system model prevails, which will result in high profitability at the time of harvesting, due to its specific characteristics as a model of agricultural production and development as this would ensure the sustainability of farmers corn farmers in the Babahoyo area.
