The research methodology used is of mixed approach, combining quantitative and qualitative approaches to obtain a deep understanding of the financial information of the company's statement of economic situation. The research adopts a descriptive approach to identify problems, using documentary and field research, which included a visit to the facilities and contact with the general manager, thus supporting the complete analysis of the institution's economic situation. The information obtained was crucial to the study, and the deductive method was used in collaboration with management to analyze the problems, which allowed us to reach well-founded conclusions and make an informed judgment on the company's financial management. As conclusions, the results of the study point to a critical weakness in the financial control of the "Ditosa Touma" company by not having a specific bank account to record cash expenditures. This deficiency poses substantial risks of detour of funds and unethical financial practices; also, the institution has weaknesses in terms of poor cash management, which could lead to liquidity problems and difficulties in meeting short-term financial obligations. Finally, recommendations for improvement in the development of its economic and financial activities were made. |

Finally, recommendations for improvement in the development of its economic and financial activities were made.El presente estudio de caso se realizó con el objetivo de analizar el Estado de Situación Económica de la Empresa "Ditosa Touma" en la Ciudad de Babahoyo durante el Período 2021-2022, mediante la información financiera, lo que permitirá conocer la realidad económica de la empresa para poder tomar las mejores decisiones para el mejoramiento de la misma. La metodología de investigación empleada es de enfoque mixto, combinando enfoques cuantitativos y cualitativos para obtener una comprensión profunda de la información financiera del estado de situación económica de la empresa. La investigación adopta un enfoque descriptivo para identificar problemas, utilizando investigación documental y de campo, que incluyó la visita a las instalaciones y contacto con el gerente general, respaldando así el análisis completo de la situación económica de la institución. La información obtenida fue crucial para el estudio y se empleó el método deductivo en colaboración con la gerencia para analizar los problemas, lo que permitió llegar a conclusiones fundamentadas y emitir un juicio informado sobre la gestión financiera de la empresa. Como conclusiones, los resultados del estudio señalan una debilidad crítica en el control financiero de la empresa "Ditosa Touma" al no contar con una cuenta bancaria específica para registrar los egresos en efectivo. Esta carencia plantea riesgos sustanciales de desviación de fondos y prácticas financieras poco éticas; asimismo, la institución presenta debilidades en cuanto a la gestión deficiente del efectivo, lo que podría dar lugar a problemas de liquidez y dificultades para cumplir con las obligaciones financieras a corto plazo.
