Its prevalence in the world has increased in recent times, and the study of its risk factors has been scarce in the child population, since in this way multiple risk factors have been used where these vary from one study to another, depending on of the information obtained and the methods used. The objective of the study is to evaluate the symptoms and causes related to allergic rhinitis in an 11-year-old female patient and to explore the influence of risk factors for this pathology, among which certain allergens such as (pollen, mold, epithelium of animals or dust mites. This study aims to determine the affectation and quality of life of the patient diagnosed with Allergic Rhinitis, in turn to establish the type of Allergic Rhinitis according to the duration, according to gender and age group, in addition to relate the type of Allergic Rhinitis according to the duration with the quality of life of the patient who is being cared for in the Allergology and Otorhinolaryngology outpatient clinic at the IEES BABAHOYO General Hospital. |
