According to the 14 needs of Virginia Henderson, the needs could be identified since this model is the one that best suits pediatric patients; With the help of the NANDA, NIC and NOC taxonomies, it was possible to identify a timely nursing diagnosis and thus create a care plan prioritizing their symptoms. |

La linfadenitis ocurre cuando los ganglios linfáticos aumentan de tamaño debido a la hinchazón (inflamación), generalmente en respuesta a bacterias, virus u hongos. Los ganglios linfáticos agrandados a menudo aparecen cerca de sitios de infección, tumores o inflamación. La linfadenitis puede ocurrir ante una infección de la piel u otra infección causada por bacterias como estreptococos o estafilococos. A veces es causada por infecciones pocos comunes como la tuberculosis o la enfermedad por arañazo de gato. Para el personal de enfermería es muy importante conocer los cuidados que se les brinda a estos pacientes para así disminuir el número de niños con problemas.
