She is attended in a nutritional consultation whose objective is to provide nutritional support that contributes to improving the state of health, through a correct assessment and diagnosis, and nutritional intervention by providing the patient, a DIETOTHERAPEUTIC PLAN AND NUTRITIONAL COUNSELING that protects her nutritional status and reduces complications of the disease. During the nutritional assessment, the patient was found to be overweight, with insufficient food intake (1500 calories), anemia, hypoproteinemia, and hypoalbuminemia. A dietary plan of 1800 calories necessary to meet their current requirements, control their complications, was proposed. In addition to adequate monitoring and follow-up of their nutritional clinical status. |

In addition to adequate monitoring and follow-up of their nutritional clinical status.El presente caso clínico está basado en una paciente femenina de 48 años de edad con diagnóstico de Cirrosis Hepática, que acude al establecimiento de salud por presentar un cuadro clínico de dolor abdominal valorado de ocho sobre diez, hipertermia no cuantificada y de melena más de cinco ocasiones al día. Es atendida en consulta nutricional cuyo objetivo es brindar apoyo nutricional que contribuya a mejorar el estado de salud, a través de una correcta valoración y diagnóstico, e intervención nutricional brindando a la paciente, un PLAN DIETOTERAPEUTICO Y CONSEJERIA NUTRICIONAL que proteja su estado nutricional y disminuir las complicaciones de la enfermedad. Durante la valoración nutricional se encontró a la paciente con sobrepeso, con una ingesta insuficiente de alimentos (1500 calorías), anemia, hipoproteinemia, e hipoalbuminemia. Se propuso un plan dietoterapeutico de 1800 calorías necesarias para cubrir con sus requerimientos actuales, controlar sus complicaciones.
