Los formatos radiofónicos noticiosos en las radios de Babahoyo

The purpose of this research is to discover the radio news formats used in Radio Libre in the city of Babahoyo in broadcast radio programs. The investigation was run on the news program. The first elementary procedure of the investigation was to record three consecutive programs of each of the broadcasts studied to identify the journalistic formats and genres used in the sports programs in question. In addition, in the investigation, interviews were conducted with the director of the program treated and a public survey was also carried out to measure and evaluate in some way the quality of said programs. It is necessary to emphasize that the present investigation has among its purposes to reach an approximation towards the way in which journalism has been developing in Babahoyo. Once the purposes of this investigation have been anticipated, it is time to present the details that have been found through the recordings: Then in the Radio Libre programs, the first broadcast of "El Noticiero de la Verdad" is highlighted, because it is the program that gives more space in some way to journalistic genres that are the main purpose of this research. The result reveals that there is little use of journalistic genres in radio programs, because not enough importance is given to those genres and formats recommended by radio specialists.
