For this analysis, bibliographic information was collected from books, magazines, newspapers, scientific articles, web pages, indexed scientific journals, presentations, conferences, technical manuals and expert judgment through virtual means. The information obtained was captured through the techniques of analysis, synthesis and summary, in order for the reader to know the importance of corn production in the family economy of farmers in the Ventanas canton. At the end of the work, the result was the existence of a deficient characterization in the marketing chain of small corn producers with little controlled links, farmers are harmed at the time of marketing their production by receiving inappropriate prices affecting their level of entry. |

At the end of the work, the result was the existence of a deficient characterization in the marketing chain of small corn producers with little controlled links, farmers are harmed at the time of marketing their production by receiving inappropriate prices affecting their level of entry.El presente trabajo de investigación correspondiente a componente práctico la modalidad de titulación del examen complexivo, analiza la caracterización de la comercialización de los pequeños productores maiceros en el cantón Ventanas, con el objetivo de plantear mecanismos que contribuyan a mejorar las condiciones de la cadena de comercialización para el pequeño agricultor. Para este análisis, se recolectó información bibliográfica de libros, revistas, periódicos, artículos científicos, páginas web, revistas científicas indexadas, ponencia, congresos, manuales técnicos y juicio de expertos por medios virtuales. La información alcanzada se organizó mediante las técnicas de análisis, síntesis y resumen, y se utilizaron los método inductivo, deductivo y descriptivo, con la finalidad de que el lector conozca la importancia de la producción maicera en la economía familiar de los agricultores del cantón Ventanas.
