Evaluación de la producción de cuatro variedades de Quínoa /Chenopodium quínoa willd) en función a la abonadura orgánica en el sector Manzano.Guarangui, provincia Imbabura.

This research was performed in the area of Manzano Guaranguí, Ibarra canton, Imbabura province, during the periods June to December 2010 with the finality to study the evaluation of the production of four varieties of quinoa (Chenopodium quinoa willd) based on organic fertilization. The established treatments are the improved varieties INIAP – Tunkahuan, INIAP – Pata de venado and the Creole eco-types Pink Espejo O.1, White Espejo O.2 and the applied sub-treatments based on two different doses of organic fertilizers – worm humus, added at the beginning before the sowing in the dose of 3820 and 2160 kg/ha and an absolute sample without the application of organic fertilizing. For the research, the design of divided plots with four treatments, three sub-treatments and three repetitions was used. The treatment plots had an area of 126 m2, divided in three experimental plots of 42 m2 and the total area of the experiment was 1520 m2. The following variables were evaluated: days until germination, height of the plant after 45, 90 and 110 days after sowing, days until flowering, diameter of the ripe stalk, length and diameters of the cornstalks, days until the harvest, weight of the dry grain per unit and net plot and yield related to kg/ha.........
