Shrnutí:The purpose of this research is to analyze the dyscalculia and its incidence on the academic performance of the Middle School students of the School "Nuestra Señora de Fátima" located in the corner of El Empalme Provincia del Guayas. The motive that impel the accomplishment of this investigative work, is because the dyscalculia is gaining ground in the education of the students, through the observation it was verified that many of the students present disadvantages in the area of mathematics, becoming for them a difficult and complicated educational environment, which prevents them from obtaining a good development within the learning processes and therefore there will be a low academic performance. The main objective of this final research report is to apply a classroom project as a proposal, in order to help students with learning problems in the area of mathematics also known as dyscalculia. This research has fundamental bases that serve as an axis for it to be carried out properly; One of these bases is the theoretical framework and the methodology that will be applied to make it feasible. Surveys will also be applied to the educational community to gather field information to confirm and analyze the research. Later, the conclusions and recommendations will be specified, the same ones that support the elaboration and application of an alternative proposal that consists of a classroom project, which will improve the academic performance in the area of Mathematics.
