| Summary: | The Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito Juan Pio de Mora LTDA, Babahoyo branch, develops its commercial activities for the benefit of the members and the community, in this sense, the impact of the overdue portfolio maintained by the cooperative in the period 2020 and 2021 is analyzed, For the generation of the information we have considered the data sources provided by the cooperative and governmental pages such as the Superintendence of Popular and Solidarity Economy, where the problem is evidenced, maintaining an overdue portfolio and an increase in the delinquency rate, due to the non-payment of membership fees; due to different factors in the country and the world, such as the presence of the health pandemic, unemployment, climatic factors that affected the agricultural and commercial sector, preventing the timely payment of loans granted. The analysis carried out on the cooperative's overdue portfolio in the two years is made by means of comparative tables and graphs of the reports, which show the absolute and relative variations of the annual behavior due to the non-recovery of the values in the established times. In this context, the results obtained determine the impact of the non-recovery of the overdue portfolio on time, which presents an increase of 16% of delinquency in the periods analyzed in this study, which requires that the COAC, promote alternatives to the members so that they can meet the obligations of credit payment, reducing the overdue portfolio to benefit the cooperative and the members. |
