Gaia:The experimental rehearsal was carried out in the properties of the Experimental Farm "San Pablo" of the Ability of Agricultural Sciences of the Technical University of Babahoyo, located in the kilometer 7,5 of the road Babahoyo - Montalvo, with coordinated UTM 669140, 9801354, it was used seeds of beet of the variety "Fordhook Giant", four watering levels were applied during the whole phase of the cultivation that embraces the periods fenológicos from its beginning until the crop; these evapotranspiration levels are T1 (Witness) 100%; T2 80%; T3 70% and T4 60%. The experimental design was used "Block Totally at random" with 4 treatments and 3 repetitions. For the evaluation and comparison of stockings was used the test from Tukey to 5% of probability. In handling of the rehearsal the floor analysis, analysis of water, nursery elaboration was made, preparation of the land, transplant, handling of overgrowths, handling of plagues and illnesses, controlled deficit watering (RDC), components of watering system, calculation of the real evapotranspiration of the cultivation, "Etc", fertilization and it harvests. The evaluated data were plant height 40, 70 dais after the transplant and to the crop, number of leaves at the 40, 70 days and to the crop, root size, weight of the leaves, yield for hectare and economic analysis of the treatments.
