الملخص:The present research indicates the active development methodology allows meaningful learning; since the student is the protagonist of their own learning and the teacher, facilitator of this process. To promote the development of its own science skills, class activities, group or personal tasks, developing critical thinking, creative thinking and effective communication takes place; for this has been raised as a main objective to analyze the contribution of active methodology in reading comprehension. The research work is exploratory, descriptive and explanatory type, applied to a sample of 10 teachers and 68 students of higher basic surveys were applied, obtaining the following conclusions recovery classes are not constant teaching both teachers and the Students lacking, the same strategies are not generated attitude change, unplanned activities are not a difficult task for students is dosed. It is recommended that classes are planned, new strategies, the task is metered at the level of students, train teachers on new strategies to improve educational psychology learning disabilities are employed.
