Sumario:The present research work entitled: Strategies that promote the capacity of synthesis through the elaboration of graphic organizers in the students of 10th. Year of egb, of the "Blanca Villamarin Ortiz" school of education, cantón Montalvo, province of los Ríos, seeks to determine strategies that promote the synthesis by applying graphic organizers and thus contribute to the achievement of significant, reproductive and lasting learning, with The purpose of guiding and improving the application of strategic activities during the daily classes of teachers and students in the teaching-learning processes. In addition to strengthening the construction and reproduction of new knowledge in students as they interact with the contents, the teacher and their peers inside and outside the classroom, developing the ability to synthesize which will be of great benefit as it will allow the use of vocabulary and vocabulary. Very fluid for its development in the society that surrounds us, allowing them to solve problems in daily occurrence. This paper demonstrates that EGB tenth year students know graphic organizers as meaningful learning strategies, while using them to analyze, organize and synthesize new content and integrate them with those previously acquired during individual and group work. in class.
