The main objective of this research work was to determine the incidence of hydatid cysts in slaughtered cattle. The methods that were used were inductive - deductive, inductive and the experimental method. The evaluated variables were affected organs, breeds, age and origin of the bovines. Chi square analysis was used with the statistical software InfoStat. The incidence obtained was 1.2% in the liver of bovines, the breed with the highest incidence was mestizo with 6.53%, the age with the highest incidence was cows older than 2 years with a 0.67 % and the origin with the highest incidence was Caluma with 3.88%. |
