| Resumo: | Background: Humanized childbirth still does not have a considerable level of acceptance on the part of pregnant women, due to lack of knowledge, fear, among other causes, given that during their births some unknowingly have suffered violence or violation of their rights, conduct , action or omission exercised by health personnel. Objective: To determine the percentage of application and satisfaction of humanized vaginal delivery in pregnant women attended at the Dr. Juan Montalván Cornejo-Ricaurte Hospital, October 2018-April 2019. Methodology: The research is basic, descriptive, observational, retrospective, non-experimental, quantitative, the study includes a universe of 628 pregnant women who were attended their births, the study sample, a group of 207 patients who were surveyed to obtain the application, satisfaction and factors that intervene in the application of humanized vaginal delivery of the Dr. Juan Montalván Cornejo-Ricaurte hospital, January 2018-January 2019. Results: It was reported that 52% of the patients surveyed did not know that it was humanized delivery, 54% did not know that it was a delivery plan. Humanized delivery was applied in 78% of patients, and 73% reported being afraid to opt for a little known position. Conclusions: The study showed that if vaginal delivery was applied and 89% were satisfied with their delivery. The position for delivery was one (71%) at the patient's choice and the most used position is sitting with one (58%), however the lithotomy position occupies a large percentage with (39%) Although WHO does not recommend it. It was shown that humanized delivery decreases maternal and fetal mortality. |
