The work is based on the human rights of the ONU in terms of freedom of communication of professionals, in the constitution of the Republic of Ecuador in terms of the right of nature, in environmental laws related to the care of the environment, in the organic law of communication. and in concepts of: environmental researchers, university professors, journalists specialized in environmental issues, who endorse the subject and the form of the research carried out. |

Así también al periodismo a manera de especialización y fuente de información por esta razón la presente investigación trata sobre como los medios de comunicación digital en la provincia de los ríos aborda este tema de suma importancia para la sociedad. Además con la elaboración de este trabajo se pudo evidenciar los espacios que dan tanto los periodistas como la prensa digital a los temas medioambientales; si los profesionales que realizan esta actividad son especialistas, también la importancia que tiene la información y como llega está a la colectividad y el impacto que produce la misma.
