As a percentage of incidence of subclinical and clinical mastitis, we have the Baba canton as one of the sectors with the highest percentage belonging to 22.5% clinical and 26.92% to subclinical, having a total of 49.42% presence of this disease, the remaining 50.68% It belongs to the farms around the Baba canton where the study was carried out. As a prevalence for positive cases, we have 75.74% and for negative cases 24.26%, which is equivalent to 100% of the total sample, referring to economic losses we use García's method on which we based the study of the positive sampled cases which belong to clinical and subclinical mastitis with a number of 231 cows in which a percentage of 14.25% was obtained which is equivalent to an economic loss of $127.05 |

Como porcentaje de incidencia a mastitis subclínica y clínica tenemos a al cantón Baba como uno de los sectores con mayor porcentaje perteneciente a 22,5% clínica y 26.92% a subclínica teniendo un total de 49.42% de presencia de esta enfermedad, el 50.68% restante es perteneciente a las fincas de los alrededores del cantón Baba donde se realizó el estudio.
