description The Canton San Jacinto de Buena Fe is the third largest and most populated city in the Province of Los Ríos. It is located in the north-central part of the coastal region of Ecuador. In addition, it is constituted as one of the most important economic and commercial administrative centers, it has several tourist attractions that offer local products such as the Bajaña port, the white water complex, the angelita complex among others. It also has waterfalls, agro-tourist farms. It is one of the most popular cantons in the province because its Pan-American highway connects several cities in the country. The purpose of this project is to demonstrate the incidence of gastronomy as a tourist product of the Buena Fe canton, this research has been carried out to identify the local gastronomy and learn about the problems that it presents in the canton regarding the subject. The implementation of a gastronomy as a tour or tourist product will influence the economic and social development of the canton, this would help visitors and tourists, preferably visit the canton and enjoy a gastronomic and eco-tourist environment.

Se localiza al centro-norte de la región litoral del Ecuador. Además, se constituye como uno de los más importantes centros administrativos económicos y comerciales, cuenta con varios atractivos turísticos que ofertan productos del lugar como puerto Bajaña, complejo aguas blancas, complejo angelita entre otros. También cuenta con cascadas, fincas agro-turísticas. Es uno de los cantones más recurridos de la provincia porque su vía panamericana conecta varias ciudades del país. Este proyecto tiene como finalidad demostrar la incidencia de la gastronomía como producto turístico del cantón Buena Fe, esta investigación se ha efectuado para identificar la gastronomía local y conocer sobre la problemática que presenta en el cantón en cuanto al tema.
