For this reason, it is expected that the proposal made with approaches in the family and cognitive behavioral system will be effective in helping to improve the interactions in the family thus redicting already problematic.El presente estudio de caso abarca una problemática que se produce en la Unidad Educativa Babahoyo siendo en este caso la problemática la desvinculación familiar y su influencia en el trastorno adaptativo en una adolescente de 14 años, la misma que presento síntomas emocionales, como llanto, tristeza en su conducta agresiones y bajo rendimiento académico. En a su vez lo cual se ven afectadas algunas áreas a nivel social, familiar y educativo. A través de la recopilación de información de la historia clínica, test y entrevistas se logró obtener el diagnostico. Y a su vez demostrar que la separación de los padres interviene en el desarrollo adecuado de la paciente.
