| Gaia: | This research paper was based on the study of the use of technologies in print media, with the aim of determining what effects the written press experiences. The techniques used were bibliographic research, the observation of print and digital formats, in addition to the journalistic style that Diario La Hora manages in conjunction with the interview that was given to the manager of the Editorship Department of said newspaper in the city of Babahoyo, Lic. Nilo Domínguez, which allowed to obtain first-hand information, on the subject of study. In the course of this analysis we were able to know the characteristics of the format and journalistic style of Diario La Hora, and how it has been in a process of evolution, convergence and adaptation since the advent of technologies. Diario La Hora as a printed medium with its digital version on different platforms has marked a particularity in its varied contents and has established a new model of written journalism. The written press is only adapting to the multiple evolutions, without a doubt technology is an essential resource to obtain information to the immediacy, but the newspaper will remain the reference where each topic was expanded and deepened calmly, every news and investigative journalism prime as a technique to capture the interest and attention of the public. |
