Cuidados de enfermería en pacientes con complicaciones de puerperio inmediato atendidas en el área de Hospitalización Gineco-Obstetra en el Hospital General Guasmo Sur durante el periodo octubre 2019-marzo 2020.

The improvement of the nursing care that is provided in the gynecologist-obstetric hospitalization area of the general hospital Guasmo sur, is supported by the application of the norms and protocols of care in the puerperium. The same that with the passing of the hours achieve a stable state of puerperal health and is reflected with the satisfaction and improvement of the patients, for this reason a descriptive-quantitative study was developed in which the nursing staff was evaluated about the application of the aforementioned standards through surveys described in percentages of said result. The sample to be studied was constituted with a total of 50 admitted patients, and the health staff consisted of 2 graduates, 2 nursing interns and 1 assistant. According to the analysis carried out, the% of health personnel surveyed have an optimal level of knowledge about the norms and protocols of care and care of postpartum patients. Regarding patient surveys, results were obtained that indicate that not all nurses are able to provide timely care in the necessary time in an efficient and effective way during this period, due to these results our proposal is to implement techniques for comprehensive care in postpartum patients.
