| Shrnutí: | The present research work was the result of the approach of the authors, based on the help to the community, in this case to the athletes of the "CANTONAL DEPOTIVA LEAGUE" with lumbar spine injuries, since this area of the body is very prone to injuries in the practice of several sports in a competitive manner. The fundamental objective of the research was to determine the incidence of lumbar injuries in athletes under 17, and to develop a preventive and educational plan with a guide to therapeutic exercises to improve low back pain. Within the Methodology, the study was Field, Exploratory, Descriptive, Explanatory, Correlating, through which the possible incidences of lumbar injuries were sustained and detailed in athletes under 17, the sample consisted of 52 patients. A diagnostic survey was used to collect the data. As results in this investigation it was obtained that in terms of gender of the athletes who presented lumbar spine of these patients were male and female gender, clearly presenting a higher incidence of the pathology in male athletes. With the application of the proposed technique, it could be concluded that due to its immediate effects in most cases, it allows a quick recovery compared to a treatment with therapeutic exercises and taking into account that most athletes do not apply appropriate exercises and by phases, they do not take into account the recommendations on sports practice, which allowed athletes not to stop their daily training, and can do so without discomfort during the practice |
