Tabaquismo y su influencia en la enfermedad pulmonar obstructiva crónica en adultos mayores de la ciudadela 4 de mayo Babahoyo Los Ríos durante el periodo mayo a octubre 2018

The purpose of this research work has as a priority to see how smoking influences the chronic obstructive disease of older adults; also establish preventive tools to prevent the spread of death rates due to COPD. To establish the research study, a deductive method was used to analyze the investigative process. A mixed (quali-quantitative) approach was also included to review the background and how Smoking influences COPD in older adults to explain the causes they incur. Do not stop smoking in time and visualize the validity of the study. Likewise, field research was used to obtain the risk factors that cause tobacco consumption and how it affects COPD, and the consequences of not having the necessary COPD instruction on the part of the inhabitants were visualized. have specific respiratory therapy care by trained therapists in the area, so that it seeks to raise awareness of families not to use tobacco, to encourage with the help of the authorities to provide educational training to the population to prevent COPD and reduce smoking rates that reduce the mortality in the world.
