Sumario:The study was carried out in the company “TALLER AUTOMOTRIZ DE JONATHAN” in Babahoyo, and it was determined that the lack of human talent management leads to a tense and conflictive work environment in the production area, resulting in poor work performance and a lack of sense of progress. The objective of the research was to evaluate human resource management to improve the company's productivity. Both primary and secondary sources were used, including information provided by the company, books, journals and websites. This case study is justified, because currently talent management is a set of practices or policies that mainly point to the actions required to control, manage and improve the performance of people. In the company “TALLER AUTOMOTRIZ DE JONATHAN”, it is developed in a very fluid and changing environment, which facilitates the loss of competitiveness in a short period of time and imposes a series of obstacles that prevent us to remain in the market. Therefore, it is very important that companies face the situation during several events and incidents and look for alternatives to overcome them, so they can maintain a good position in the future to achieve an excellent level of efficiency and effectiveness. The methodology employed was qualitative, using the critical propositional paradigm to directly analyze each aspect related to human talent management. Data were collected through employee surveys and direct observation. It was concluded that it is necessary to establish a training plan based on the real needs of management and operation of human talent to improve work performance.
