Streszczenie:The present investigation includes the study carried out on Influence in the interactive methodological strategies for the language and literature learning of the students of the Fourth Year of Basic Education in the Particular Educational Unit "Father Marcos Benetazzo" of the Babahoyo canton. Once the analysis of the data obtained through the application of the surveys to the two study groups was carried out: teachers and students, by means of which it was possible to determine that the methods, techniques and procedures for teaching Language and Literature applied by the teachers are not adequate, because they do not receive continuous training so they are not up-to-date and capable of teaching good language and literature, it was established that there is an urgent need to carry out teacher training of updating on methodological strategies for teaching - learning of Language and Literature. The theoretical foundation was developed based on the matrix of the operationalization of the variables. By its modality it is a socio - educational research that by its nature is qualitative, sustained with a bibliographic - documentary work reinforced with a field investigation, applied by means of the technique of the survey whose questionnaire gathered the information of the totality of the investigated population, formed by teachers and students of the fourth grade of basic education of the aforementioned educational institution, through these results it was concluded that it is essential to put into practice teacher training to serve as a tool for teachers to teach through appropriate methodological strategies, updated knowledge of Language and Literature. The direct beneficiaries are the teachers and students of this educational institution.
