He was able to obtain information through techniques such as interviews and psychometric tools such as the Mental Mini and the Yesavage Geriatric Depression Scale, which were carried out on the Elderly. Arriving at a diagnosis according to ICD-10 F34.1 Dysthymia, with a predisposing factor diagnosed of optic neuritis disease with an evolution time of 3 years and a precipitant such as the absence of visits from her daughter, from the beginning of the pandemic. For which a therapeutic proposal based on the cognitive-behavioral approach is proposed. |
