description This research project was carried out with the purpose of promoting publicizing and disseminating the attractions that the Canton Echeandia possesses and this through a promotion plan that helps publicize these attractions, due to the lack of promotion they have not been these places are exploited or exploited, and for this the support of the municipal GAD authorities of the Canton Echeandia is also needed, but so far the municipality currently lacks a tourism department and that is why the owners of the attractions do not feel 100% support of the authorities towards their tourism projects, therefore this research project will help tourism and in the same way socio-cultural development. The type of research used was field and exploratory since it allowed us to feel the tourist failure existing in the Canton and the methodology applied was observation, so we could investigate enough information from other authors and reach a previas inquiry after an analysis and checking the different definitions. The instruments used were: surveys and interviews, which helped to identify the different needs and also if this project had the approval of the Echeandian people, they mostly agreed that the Canton be promoted along with its attractions since the Tourism is a major axis in the socio-cultural development economy of the countries. The promotion plan consisted of promoting the attractions through social networks, web pages and leaflets.

The promotion plan consisted of promoting the attractions through social networks, web pages and leaflets.Este proyecto de investigación se realizó con la finalidad de promocionar dar a conocer y difundir los atractivos que posee el Cantón Echeandia y esto por medio de un plan de promoción que ayude a dar a conocer estos atractivos, debido a la falta de promoción no han sido explotados ni aprovechados dichos lugares, y para esto también se necesita el apoyo de las autoridades del GAD municipal del Cantón Echeandia, pero hasta ahora en la actualidad el municipio carece de un departamento de turismo y es por eso que los dueños de los atractivos no sienten el apoyo al 100% de las autoridades hacia sus proyectos turísticos, por lo tanto este proyecto de investigación ayudara al turismo y de la misma manera al desarrollo sociocultural. El tipo de investigación utilizada fue de campo y exploratoria ya que nos permitió palpar la falencia turística existente en el Cantón y la metodología aplicada fue de observación, así se pudo investigar la suficiente información de otros autores y llegar a una indagación previa luego a un análisis y a la comprobación de las diferentes definiciones. Los instrumentos utilizados fueron: encuestas y entrevistas, los cuales ayudaron a identificar las diferentes necesidades y así mismo si este proyecto contaba con la aprobación del pueblo Echeandiense, en su mayoría estuvieron de acuerdo con que sea promocionado el Cantón conjuntamente con sus atractivos ya que el turismo es un eje principal en la economía el desarrollo sociocultural de los países.
