| Summary: | Low back pain is a growing socioeconomic and health problem and one of the main causes of workplace visits, absenteeism and disability. The purpose of this study was to describe the association between physical activity and low back pain in patients of economically active age who attended the physiotherapy services of the Pablo Arturo Suárez Hospital. of the Pablo Arturo Suárez Hospital. A cross-sectional descriptive study was carried out in 203 patients with low back pain selected by mu patients with low back pain selected by simple random sampling. With informed consent, the International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ) and the Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ) and the tools developed by the author were used to obtain the required information. The data were analyzed with the SPSS v23.0 program. The study showed that low back pain was overwhelmingly prevalent in women (65.5%), with a mean age of 46.1 years. mean age of 46.1 years. Obesity was a predisposing factor for 56.2%, only 32% were aware of CORE strengthening exercises, and 56.2% could be associated with pain lasting longer than 12 weeks.
