Se destaca la importancia de abordar esta problemática, dada la vulnerabilidad única de la adolescencia durante el embarazo y la falta de adherencia a los controles prenatales observada en este grupo demográfico. El estudio se enmarca dentro de las líneas de investigación de la Universidad y busca explorar a fondo los factores determinantes, como la edad de las gestantes y las posibles consecuencias adversas para la salud materno-infantil. Se destaca la relevancia de identificar y comprender estos factores de riesgo para diseñar estrategias de intervención en la salud dirigidas a las necesidades específicas de las adolescentes embarazadas.
