In Ecuador the Fire DepartmentsEl Cuerpo de Bomberos es una Institución que inició sus operaciones en la Ciudad de Vinces el 18 de Agosto de 1882, dedicada al cuidado y protección de la población Vinceña en todo tipo de eventos, sean estos incendios forestales, estructurales, rescate en accidentes de tránsitos, entre otros, permitiendo servir a la ciudadanía la ayuda necesaria, ya que hoy en día se presenta diferentes casos naturales que afectan al ambiente y sociedad. Se encuentra constituida por dos secciones, en área operativa y el área administrativa, el área operativa se relaciona con el personal que realiza actividades de emergencias y aquellos voluntarios que están dispuesto a servir, y el área administrativa se direcciona a todo lo relacionado con las gestiones de la institución indicada, está unidad se conforma por diversos departamentos como lo son: Jefatura, Tesorería, Secretaria y Bodega, en este último departamento es donde se centra la investigación de este estudio de caso.
