Итог:Introduction. Alcoholism and drug addiction is a problem of public health that is growing every day among adolescents in our country and the world. This is an issue that has serious consequences for the physical, psychological and social health of this population group. General Objective. Determine the factors that predispose alcoholism and drug addiction to adolescents in the Teresa campus, Babahoyo canton, province of Los Ríos, period October 2019-March 2020. Methodology. Research with qualitative-quantitative modality, field, deductive method, for the purpose was applied and not experimental according to the cross-sectional dimension. Information gathering techniques were used as unstructured, direct scientific observation and survey; A survey was conducted, and used a questionnaire as an instrument. A sample of 100 adolescents was studied, the sampling was non-probabilistic intentionally complying fully with inclusion and exclusion criteria. Results. (93%) of teenagers consume alcohol, (57%) of them have used drugs at some stage of their lives, (73% 9 had not received drug counseling, (27%) for forgetting problems, (57%) said they had used marijuana (weed), (45%) said they had received psychological abuse, (55%) said they had received social discrimination, (38%) said they had presented depression disorder, plus ( 35%) said they had anxiety disorders, (70%) say they have sometimes (once a week) open and honest communication with their parents. Conclusions. It has been detected that the risk factors regarding the consumption of alcohol and drugs in the La Teresa enclosure to adolescents as a risk group, the fact of being part of absent families, suffering from disorders such as depression and anxiety, belonging to families where there is psychological abuse, social discrimination, psychological abuse and domestic violence.
