This clinical case is helpful for future work to be carried out in relation to the subject matter.El presente trabajo, se trata de la presentación de un caso clínico en un paciente masculino con diabetes mellitus tipo II con complicaciones vasculares periféricas. El principal objetivo del trabajo es la aplicación del proceso de atención de enfermería, con la intención de determinar las intervenciones oportunas para mejorar el pronóstico del paciente, en base a los diagnósticos establecidos. El método aplicado para este trabajo es el seguimiento del caso clínico, obtención de información directa del paciente y de la historia clínica; de igual manera para establecer la parte teórica se realiza la búsqueda de fuentes bibliográficas. Los principales resultados obtenidos son: se aplica de manera oportuna el proceso de atención de enfermería logrando realizar intervenciones que son aplicadas a mejorar el pronóstico del paciente.
