| Zusammenfassung: | The present experimental work was carried out in the “Santa Marianita” farm, owned by mr. Fernando Recalde, located at km 1 of the Montalvo - Balsapamba road, “San Pedro” site, at UTM coordinates: 17 s 691639 - 9802757; with an altitude of 90 meters above sea level. The area has a humid tropical climate, with an average temperature of 25.5 ˚C, annual rainfall of 2329 mm, relative humidity of 82% and 987.1 hours of annual average heliophany. The soil presents flat topography, loamy-clay texture, with drainage through channels. The planting material used is yellow passion fruit seed, variety "Tropifrutas", with an approximate harvest time of two years. Treatments composed of Boric Acid (10% B2O5) in doses of 9.9 were studied; 19.8; 39.6 kg / ha and an absolute control without product. The experimental design completely randomized blocks (DBCA) was used, with four treatments, five repetitions. The comparisons of the means were made with the Tukey test at 5% significance. All agronomic work was carried out for a good development and production of the crop, such as tutors, planting, irrigation, fertilization, phytosanitary control, weed control, pruning and harvesting. Based on the results obtained, it was determined that passion fruit cultivation had positive effects on the edaphic application of Boron in the Montalvo area; the highest number of flowers was recorded by the application of Boric Acid in doses of 19.8 kg / ha; the control treatment, without application of products, reported a greater number of fallen flowers; in the variables number of fruits per plant, diameter and average weight of the fruit, number of seeds per fruit and weight of 100 seeds achieved better results with the application of Boric Acid in doses of 19.8 kg / ha and the highest yield and benefit net was for the use of Boric Acid in doses of 19.8 kg / ha with 3388.6 kg / ha and $ 255.66; However, in the economic analysis there were treatments that were not profitable, with negative economic gains |
