Furthermore, it seeks to determine the existing relationship between family abandonment and the emotional state of the adults under study. The results of this research were obtained through various psychological techniques and tools, including the review of clinical histories, clinical observation, clinical interviews, and the use of psychological reagents such as the Yesavage Geriatric Depression Scale. The results obtained in this research align with the theory presented in this case study, allowing us to reach significant conclusions that confirm the relationship between family abandonment and the emotional state of older adults in Caluma. These conclusions are essential to provide the necessary guidelines to establish a therapeutic intervention scheme that addresses the symptoms present in this vulnerable population. |

Para llevar a cabo este análisis, se utilizará un marco conceptual que abarcará las principales áreas emocionales afectadas por esta problemática, mediante la aplicación de evaluaciones psicológicas utilizando instrumentos clínicos estandarizados. Además, se buscará determinar la relación existente entre el abandono familiar y el estado emocional de los adultos mayores en estudio. Los resultados de esta investigación se obtuvieron a través de diversas técnicas y herramientas psicológicas, que incluyeron la revisión de historias clínicas, observación clínica, entrevistas clínicas y el uso de reactivos psicológicos como el Test de Escala Geriátrica de Depresión de Yesavage. Los resultados obtenidos en esta investigación se alinean con la teoría presentada en este estudio de caso, lo que nos permite llegar a conclusiones significativas que confirman la relación entre el abandono familiar y el estado emocional de los adultos mayores en Caluma.
