Efectos psicológicos en deportistas con lesiones que acuden a la federación deportiva

When an injury occurs in an athlete not only physical discomfort occurs, it is also accompanied with effects in the psychological field. In the present case study, we inquire about the psychological effects in injured athletes of the sports federation of Los Ríos and we have taken a case from that institution where the patient suffered an injury where he was absent from his training for several months and upon returning The training does not have the same performance and this gender in the feelings of frustration, excessive sweating, stomach upset and palpitations. In the applied interviews we use instruments such as the medical history, psychometric tests to reach the diagnosis of generalized anxiety. The psychometric batteries that we applied was to corroborate our diagnostic hypothesis. In the psychological intervention provided, a therapeutic scheme of cognitive behavioral cutting was developed, in order to reduce the patient's anxiety levels.
