Add Tag | Summary: | Covid 19 is the disease with the highest mortality rate in the world affecting living beings such as animals, evidenced by an alteration of respiratory syndrome leading to pneumonia. The objective of this clinical study was to apply the nursing care process in a patient diagnosed with pneumonia as a consequence of COVID-19 who was hospitalized for presenting the symptoms that characterize this disease. This topic is important for the nursing professional so they are the main caregivers of the patient, with the proper biosafety measures, the activities that were taught based on the nurse's diagnosis were carried out, a care plan was created that allowed to improve the comfort of the patient during his hospital stay. I can conclude that the nursing process that encompasses the clinical history, the nursing assessment by functional patterns, the results of the same and the interventions are fundamental in the application of the patient's clinical picture, allowing recovery or improvement in it. Through this we cover the mental health of the patient, providing emotional support so that the health personnel is the only connection they have during the execution of the treatment, that is, nursing is responsible for the patient's environment. |
