Sumari: | Nowadays, the progressive reliance on digital storage devices such as electromechanical and solid-state disks, to store important private data and highly confidential information, has led to a greater need for efficient and accurate data recovery of files. deleted In the Provincial Autonomous Decentralized Government (GADP) of Los Rios, as a public company that handles large amounts of information, they have different storage devices such as SSD, which is a new technology that is being implemented because it improves computer performance. , the speed also allow applications to run faster or copy / move files more quickly, the research was carried out specifically in the Department of Information and Communication Technology (TIC'S) since it is in charge of repairing and recovering information of said storage devices. This type of technologies as well as all storage technologies have risks of both physical and internal damage, which have already occurred in the department and it has been difficult and in some cases impossible to recover the information from said hard drives since this technology is different and with the tools normally used it was not possible to collect the lost information. The present case study carried out a comparative analysis of seven information retrieval tools applied to SSD storage devices, in the department of TIC'S of the Los Ríos GADP, which set out to identify the method that allows the recovery of the greatest number of information in an integral, clear and reliable way. Having such an analysis would be of great help to the TIC'S workers who are confronted daily with large amounts of data that have to be processed in short periods of time, for this reason that as long as there is a comparative table that allows knowing the most efficient will shorten the time of this recovery process. |
