Tomando en cuenta el estado de la paciente y el antecedente de convulsiones, el medico ordena hacer un electroencefalograma y un examen de sangre completo para poder realizar un diagnóstico y por ende un tratamiento. En primer lugar, la enfermera valora el estado físico de la paciente para poder emitir un diagnóstico diferencial, en este caso existe un riesgo de aspiración R/C disminución del nivel de conciencia por lo que elabora un plan de cuidados de enfermería en base al diagnóstico del paciente para prevenir complicaciones y una vez estabilizada y tratada por el medico hacer seguimiento a la evolución del caso.
