Para el levantamiento de la información de este estudio se basó en el diseño cualitativo y cuantitativo por medio de la investigación documentada, diagnóstica y descriptiva soportada en las técnicas de encuesta, entrevista y observación, mismas que ayudaron a determinar la situación actual, determinando que existe un desaprovechamiento del afluente, puesto que no es utilizado para impulsar el turismo.
