Factores de riesgo y su incidencia en enfermedad pulmonar obstructiva crónica en adultos mayores en la parroquia el Salto, Cantón Babahoyo, Provincia Los Ríos septiembre 2017 a febrero 2018.

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease is a disease that can be preventable and with good treatment can be treatable but has no cure, is characterized by the limitation of air to the lungs that is usually produced by the inflammatory reaction caused by certain agents such as smoke tobacco. The main problem that occurs in obstructive diseases is the complete progressive increase of the resistance of the air inlet and outlet, this gives us in response a considerable decrease in the diameter of the respiratory tract, these anomalies present in this disease affect mainly in the light of the respiratory tract, and the tissue that surrounds the walls of the respiratory tract. The objective of this research was to determine the risk factors that are related to the occurrence of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease in adults of the parish of Babahoyo canton jump, from Los Ríos province during September 2017 to February 2018 with the purpose of preventing the development of said pathology. The descriptive method was used, since, according to the level of analysis, the risk factors were specified from the environmental points of view that affected the appearance of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease in the people under study. Also the exploratory type, since the Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease is a topic that has not been relevant in its study in the Province of Los Ríos and investigating from its origin to its prevention.
