The present case study was carried out with the objective of identifying if the absence of paternal roles affect the psycho-emotional changes of a 14-year-old adolescent, all of this was carried out through the application of cognitive behavioral techniques which helped to identify those thoughts. , emotions and behaviors the adolescent has in the absence of these roles, therefore this psychological work was developed through the scientific investigation of the variables exposed in this case study, these scientific contributions allowed the proposed objective to be fulfilled in an optimal way for Later, provide the corresponding therapy to the patient through a therapeutic plan which includes cognitive restructuring techniques aimed at those thoughts that the patient presented during the psychological intervention and that contemplates the therapeutic process to modify their emotions and behavior with the goal of improving their quality of life.
