Ychwanegu Tag | Crynodeb: | The case study is based on evaluating the performance of OTT networks implemented over IPTV infrastructures in rural areas of Babahoyo canton, since the main technological difficulties that impact connection quality are recognized, such as slow Internet connection, high latency and poor telecommunications infrastructure. To address these challenges, the implementation of a content delivery network (CDN) is proposed to improve the delivery of on-demand content distribution, decreasing latency and enhancing the user experience. The research points out the relevance of increasing connectivity in these rural areas through investments in infrastructure such as fiber optics and the correct use of radio frequency links. It is deduced that the application of technological solutions such as CDNs, caching and best practices in infrastructure will facilitate a significant increase in access to digital services in these rural areas. |
