Tratamiento de la información en los medios digitales y su incidencia en la ética de los estudiantes de la carrera de Comunicación de la Universidad Técnica de Babahoyo - Extensión Quevedo, año 2021

This investigative work arises with the objective of identifying the incidence of digital information in the ethics of the students of the Communication career of the Technical University of Babahoyo - Quevedo Extension. Due to the clear access to digital information and the new ways of practicing journalism in the digital age. The determination of the proposed objective was given through a technical online questionnaire that was applied to the aforementioned students as the population of the object of study directly involved, using explanatory research that allows obtaining new data. The information that was collected helped to identify the influence of digital information on the ethics of the students in question. What I found as a result is that the information currently poured into the various digital media does affect the ethics of these young people, but it was also observed that ethics does not depend on the content that is accessed, but that it is a value that is acquires and is strengthened according to the education received, therefore, the communication students of the Technical University of Babahoyo - Ext. Quevedo decide to be or not to be ethical.
