| Итог: | Diabetes Mellitus is a chronic metabolic pathology with a complex approach that is characterized by presenting an imbalance in glucose production, patients diagnosed with the disease present with regular pictures of hyperglycemia and cardiovascular disease, coronary disease being the main cause of death with the highest National morbidity and mortality rate. There are comorbidities associated with diabetes mellitus such as overweight, obesity and arterial hypertension, which are the most common in patients with metabolic disorders. The presence of lack of control of the disease was related to signs of aggravation in patients with Sars Covid 19 and therefore increased the probability of mortality in the presence of comorbidities that potentiated the signs and symptoms, resulting in increased mortality in patients with Covid - 19. The objective of this clinical case was to improve the nutritional status of the patient with Diabetes Mellitus and Arterial Hypertension who also has an infection by the Sars covid-19 Virus through the nutrition process, through anthropometric assessment, clinical and dietary assessment that through of the energy estimates, it will be possible to cover the nutritional needs of the patient, thus preventing the decompensation and aggravation of the present pathologies. A good nutritional treatment is extremely relevant for the speedy recovery of the patient, because it contributes positively to maintaining and improving the biopsychosocial well-being of the patient, the type of diet must be evaluated depending on the evolution of the patient, as well as the Nutritional care and support should be aimed at covering physiological needs to prevent the aggravation of diseases due to nutritional deficiency. |
