Gaia:The following case study aimed to analyze the role of women in the radio football story and the experience in Ecuador from 1996 to 2018. In addition to the benefits and prejudices involved in providing sports information specifically football. In society, receiving sports information from women through radio and the different media has become normal, breaking stereotypes imposed by machismo, although there are few radios that have a female figure in their programs or transmissions. Throughout the case study, the basic tasks that women have as a reporter, comercial voice or panelist have been deepened and why they have not yet been able to comment or report a football game in a live broadcast. Subsequently, the way of thinking of sociaty was investigated when they heard a women being part of different sports programs. The thechniques that were used were those of data collection through the survey of listeners of male preference to determine the acceptance that exists in them to know that a woman can relate, comment and comment on football with total arbitrariness
