Ամփոփում:Psychoactive substances are those natural or synthetic compounds that act on the nervous system, generating alterations in functions such as thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. The consumption of these substances implies a great risk of suffering adverse effects on different organs and systems of the human body; these can manifest themselves in the short term as intoxication. The objective of this study is to apply the nursing care process in a female patient with a diagnosis of psychoactive substance consumption. Patient comes to the hospital unit voluntarily, during his admission the assessment method is applied using Marjory Gordon's functional patterns, and physical examination, which contributed to the development of the nursing care plan based on the affected functional patterns. The nursing interventions implemented, such as reducing anxiety, managing sleep disorders, and managing eating disorders, helped relieve stress, anxiety, nausea, and cravings for psychoactive substances.
