Résumé:SUMMARY The present investigation was carried out in the sector of San José, Pimampiro parish, Pimampiro canton, province of Imbabura since it is a purely agrarian locality having a wide line of crops in the different altitudes offered by the locality. To progress the study of the subject, a survey format was made with questions aimed at knowing the reality of the attack of whitefly to kidney tomato crops under greenhouse, these questions will help to determine the incidence of the attack of the pest, the recognition and control of it by the surrounding producers. The previously conducted survey was directed to a sample of 10 kidney tomato producers who manage this crop under greenhouse, resulting in the ml management by the farmers when controlling the whitefly inside their greenhouses. It was found that the plague called white fly has a high incidence with damage to the leaves, producing decay of the plant and stem softness, and economic losses for the kidney tomato producer and his family.
